It would be cool to have a sub forum to try to kerp tabs on scamming upstarts but in the absence of that. the NAFL facebook seems to have just converted itself over from an old defunct semi pro east coast regionl league, despite claims of being a behind the scenes upstart.
Also the NSFLs mexican leagues facebook still seems quite active.

What's the point in discussing scam leagues when we should be shutting them down?

I think he may be saying to start them so we can warn players Exactly, work as a team to get them off various social media outlets before they get a chance to do damage to people

It would be cool if you started your own damn blog/board which you gave us your own Hot (Alt-)Football/Sports Opinions and not have to use another person to display them. Blogs and boards are free. Make your own kiddo!

If a league can't start in 6 years, they need to pack up the office, shut down the social media sites and just say we weren't able to get it done.

My nickname for the new USFL, and the league formerly known as A11. "The waste of time Football League" because that what happens when I read about those paper leagues.

I believe that NAFL isn't a scam, they just got to fast in social networks (like A11FL, USFL and almost every new alternative league)... They're a work in progress, that, for what I know, is almost complete. I can say to you 7 things that make me believe in the NAFL: 1st- from all the alternative leagues they've the best and with most information; 2nd- They've a great concept (they will do their have network online, play in major stadiums, get foreign players, the players will make 95K a year, etc.); 3th- One day, I was checking the facebook of the league's network (https://www.facebook.com/NAFLSportsNetwork) and there was a podcast that I decided to hear (now was deleted from the page) in that podcast they were talking about the league the expectations, how the network would work and presenting the commentators and the president of the league. That was really legit and so I decided to click on the link to the site of the network (http://www.naflsn.com/) and at that time you could see the website, the information, the shows, the name of the teams and cities, the shop and another podcast (the first one was a test podcast but this one was the real introduction to the league). I think the site was open to public by acident and that will be lauched later so know you only see the text "This site is down for maintenance. Please check back again soon." and the logo of the network; 4th- The league will be officially announced next week with a press conference like A11FL. RUMOR- It may be Thursday 4th September 2014 as seen in their official youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyfACxqjhzk); 5th- They're different! They say that only when all their plans and goals to start the league are complete, then they will invest in marketing like the other alternative leagues. They will only market the league when they know It's ready go! 6th- Despite what people think the league and the management group is only here for 2 YEARS! Not 4 or 10! 2 years! They don't have any relation with the old NAFL - the semi-pro league - besides the name that was purchased by the current management group of the league. 7th- They don't have any relation with other leagues. 8th- For the people who say that the league released the name of the teams and didn't even know what would be the cities. They announced the cities and team names: Florida Sentinels, Alabama Freedom, North Carolina Red Wolves, Kentucky Thoroughbreds, Ohio Flight, Virgina Crusaders, Massachusetts Merchantmen and a 8th team that they haven't announce yet and they initially announced would be in Tennessee but now will be the Memphis Kings (I got this information when I reading the NAFL Sports Network website) I hope this was enough too make you think in this league more than a scam. Peace!

I didn't include that point because I seen the press conference scheduled in their youtube but because they said It will happen when answering to fans. I really believe We can't say that this league is a scam because atleast, if you research correctly in the internet, you'll find that the is legit with informations about the owner, the location of their headquarters, etc. and that information have atleast 1 or 2 years. I really think It's easier to say that the A11FL and new USFL are scams or projects that will never happen then the NAFL because they atleast are doing something at this moment (building the network, working on the websites, talking with entrepeneurs and investors, getting the locations fixed, etc.) and you can tell they're doing that, you can see the behind the scenes sometimes because they don't do most of the things in "silence". You can't just say the league is fake without having any relevant information, the same way we can't say It's real without more information. I just believe that's all...
