... claiming they will be playing in Spring 2015. They also have a slick website and cool team logos: The North American Football LeagueLooks like they bought the name of a defunct minor league that closed down in 2010.

Now, now, it's always possible that they will manage to play a game or two. Unlikely, but always possible.

Love how their teams don't have cities attached to them.
As the A11FL has shown, it's easy to make up helmet and uniform designs. Way harder to actually attract investors.

So if these people (A11FL, USFL, NAFL) are to be believed, next year there will be THREE (or more!) spring football leagues competing for coaches, players, playing venues, TV time, media coverage, and fans (and their dollars).
I will be surprised if even one of them gets rolling. Two would be shocking. All three might be a sign of the End of Days.

With the obsession for football in America these days, I think we're about to see a lot of football one way or the other during the spring/summer time. Whether it be the USFL or CFL or even AFL. ESPN just recently bought rights for AFL games on Sunday and are promoting the league for the first time since the 90's. Same with the CFL. They're early games get national TV coverage because they are only football option during the offseason. Once September rolls around ESPN stops carrying CFL. I think there's room for the USFL now that it looks like A11FL is DOA. ESPN, NBC, or Fox will wanna add the league to their inventory for football fanatics in the spring.

From the way it looks at this point, knowing that the USFL has Mr. C.J Olivares as their main media guru. It is not hard to see they will most likely have a TV contract with the Fox Sports family of stations. Mr. Olivares was instrumental in developing Fox Sports Net back in the day, which became Fox Sports, and he also started Fuel TV, which has now become Fox Sports 1. They also have Graffy Inc.(Robert Graffy) out of SoCal that does cutting edge media for young people. Also BZA PR is still scheduled to handle all of their other Major media advertising. Greg Ball at BZA was their account manager before, I do not know if he is still at BZA PR or not. But I do know these 3 are on the schedule to handle all their media.

Hi, I wrote every thing I know about the NAFL and why I really believe in them in this topic: alternativefootballnation.com/thread/216/scam-leaguesgatek99, just because someone said that, that doesn't mean is true. Just because they a name that is similar to the NSFL doesn't mean they're the same guys from the NSFL. The president of NAFL is Christopher White. They won't have tryouts but there will be regional combines wich the elegible players will be able to participate. This combines will be for FREE, so as you can see the NSFL problem won't happen. You just need to read some posts of the league in their facebook and the answers to the fans questions and you will understand they're not like NSFL or most of the other alternative leagues.

Sorry, my mistake. In the regional combines, the players that want to participate will paid for it but the invited players will get housing and things like that paid. The players that get selected to the final combines will have everything paid and the same happens with the players that get invited to the Draft. The league have talked about a kind of "reimbursement" for all the players that participate at the regional combines like equipment for the combine and things like that. I don't know how much you need to pay to participate on the combines but you will probably pay less than a "NFL Regional Combine", for example.
