Also now it seems $110 to register but no info on where to show up, is that info anywhere? 1- Not a secure/encrypted registration site CHECK 2-Only accepting PayPal as a form of payment CHECK But nothing illustrates how serious they are is the Network page where is seems they just listed brands and manufacturers as "Partners" since the logos do not direct people to those sites. It is like they just wrote down all the brand names in a production studio.

Anyone else noticed NAFL posting this comment taking a page right out of the USFLs book. Im waiting for the pushing back kick off to 2016 announcement.
"Although not a necessity for the launch of the league for 2015, a goal we are currently working on is to find a local investor or investment group for each team that has local ties in each of the communities. We feel this will ultimately benefit in the long term sustainability of each team. We have set a benchmark date to accomplish this goal. Therefore, we have purposely not announced any GM's or Head Coaches until we have either reached this goal or we have reached our benchmark date. Typically, an investor or investment group will want to bring in their own staff to run the team. If we make any announcements pertaining to GM's or Head Coaches at this time, this might deter a potential investor or investment group. The NAFL will only fill 3 positions for each team. Those positions are 1. Director of Football Operations 2. GM 3. Head Coach. They will be responsible for hiring and filling the remainder of their staff. To date, we have identified the majority of the executive staff for each team. If an investor or investment group is secured, they will be responsible for hiring and filling those positions. A rule that the NAFL has implemented from the start, is that ALL applicants that have submitted a resume for employment will be interviewed for the position they applied for."

NAFL also claims to be negotiating to play at Legion field in Alabama. I just ss poke with officials at the Birmingham Parks and Rec board, and as far as they know that information in incorrect.

Well, if they are going to play in Birmingham, it is Legion Field or nothing.

Well, if they are going to play in Birmingham, it is Legion Field or nothing. Well, they could play in suburban Hoover since the AA stadium there is vacant with the Barons moving downtown. That said, they will sign to with the lowest bidder in an effort to have the smallest balance to default on. What is your "inside source" saying MichiganMan? That person is still there, right? They could possibly explain why they will draft in Nashville, a city which won't even host a team.

Hi, I wrote every thing I know about the NAFL and why I really believe in them in this topic: alternativefootballnation.com/thread/216/scam-leaguesgatek99, just because someone said that, that doesn't mean is true. Just because they a name that is similar to the NSFL doesn't mean they're the same guys from the NSFL. The president of NAFL is Christopher White. They won't have tryouts but there will be regional combines wich the elegible players will be able to participate. This combines will be for FREE, so as you can see the NSFL problem won't happen. You just need to read some posts of the league in their facebook and the answers to the fans questions and you will understand they're not like NSFL or most of the other alternative leagues. Soooo......still "really believe in them?" You were just wrong. Just really, REALLY wrong. I believe that NAFL isn't a scam, they just got to fast in social networks (like A11FL, USFL and almost every new alternative league)... They're a work in progress, that, for what I know, is almost complete. I can say to you 7 things that make me believe in the NAFL: 1st- from all the alternative leagues they've the best and with most information; This was kind of like being the tallest Munchkin. They were really poor at getting information out and outright lied in many cases. That was all b.s. That wasn't going to happen. They weren't going to have a network online, they announced no stadiums, why foreign players means anything to anyone but you, Euro Boy, is beyond me, and players were absolutely NOT going to make $95K a year. So you went to Facebook....and listened to a podcast...where people said things YOU felt were "really legit" (for whatever reason) about a network that, to this point, has not actually happened...and that SHOULD lead you to believe you were overly optimistic. Didn't happen. They said they would do things! And they would never lie! They say they're going to have a league, so I TOTALLY BELIEVE THEM, YOU GUYS. They wouldn't lie about that! And yet...they can't do simple things like actually hold a combine. They seemed really good at having a lot of meetings, though. Why is this a positive to you? Nope. What it makes me think is that you're incredibly gullible. In-cred-ib-ly gullible.
