Well now we're up to having a schedule. www.fxfl.com/schedule/However, as far as I know, three of the four teams are still missing coaches. Can they put teams together in less than a month?

I think you can find 40 guys. I do not believe they will be as high-quality as Mr. Woods seems to want everyone to believe they are.
I would be curious about the actual pitch to these guys. A grand a game, okay, get on TV, maybe do some things to showcase yourself. As if NFL GMs didn't already ( a ) have a ton of tape on you from college or ( b ) see you when you were in preseason camp with an actual NFL team.
But what's the insurance situation? Is it like the XFL was, where you were on your own if you got hurt? Is it an independent contractor situation, where you're going to get hit not only for the withholding, but the payroll taxes and all that? That eats into that $1,000 a game pretty quickly.
I would love to hear the conversation between the FXFL and the quarterbacks who were released (just to pick a position at random). What's the actual selling point? Maybe quarterbacks aren't a great example, guys get hurt, guys will get chances in the NFL when someone goes down and someone who's actively been throwing and playing would have an edge. But what about the other positions?

When do you figure said Account Exec would be in place and selling, with the first games in three weeks? How many tickets do you think that one person is going to sell to groups?
Do they know how much time groups take to put together? They have five weeks to their first (of two) home games. This person will start within the next couple of weeks, unless they're out of work (which they'd almost have to be, because nobody is going to leave a decent job for this short-term opportunity). And they have to have 1-3 years of experience and be available now, basically. And I'm going to assume it's almost all commission.
Oh, and you have to make at least 100 outbound calls a day. Can you make those four minutes each and do the math? Can you explain who you are, what you're trying to do and close the deal in four minutes?
I do not believe these people know how the business of sports actually works.

Or they do know, but think they can do everything on the cheap this year as an "example" season.

Or they do know, but think they can do everything on the cheap this year as an "example" season.$ $hit, Boston is only having two games. No need to even use Craigslist, just go to a temp service to get a makeshift call center. Then they would not have to interview people and waste even more time.

So...
They went from six teams to four. They were two weeks late releasing their schedule. They were supposed to have a draft, but instead just allocated players to teams. They were supposed to have 40 players, now the Omaha coach says 38 players. And now there are rumblings the Florida team won't actually play any home games this year.
Can they do ANYTHING they say they're going to do?

Oh, by the way, if you have any suggestions for Brian Woods, he's all ears.
