Management didn't think that particular discussion was fun, and when that went away, there wasn't much left to drive traffic.
The various leagues haven't helped things, either, by not delivering on anything they said they were going to do.
I guess there are only so many posts we can make about "League says it's going to do something by such and such a date, then doesn't, then goes silent."
Right now there appear to be no viable alternative football leagues. It will be "football season" again in <90 days and nobody's saying anything.

If all these "leagues" could pool their money and resources, we might be able to have something worth while. Too many differences of opinion though. Like they say. Sometimes there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

Sometimes there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Sorry, but none of them have money or resources to really pool. They each carry debt and ill-conceived ideas. The A11FL spent their available cash of a down payment for Raymond James Stadium, that SF hotel conference room, and a deposit on ESPN airtime. The NAFL could even hold any of their eight combines set for earlier this year. Some of the eight they could not pay for. MLFB, the one which has the penny stock and set up in Bradenton FL for HQ which is trading today at $0.50/share, loses $300K ever three months. Plus, according to their last federal filing..... THEY HAVE ZERO INCOME!And don't get me started on ASFL. At least the USFL is wise enough not to gaurantee a start date until they get their financing, but that number is $500 million. They should be able to get all of that by 2215. It cannot work, ever.

The smartest league is that league that currently does everything behind closed doors and doesn't have a Facebook page or Twitter or any other network feed. They are the one that will get everything done first, then get the facebook page and twitter page. Then the web page.

The NAFL is seriously funny, though. They're just...bizarrely dreadful, as Simon Cowell would say.

I think they are all dreadful. One league says we will start spring of "insert year". Then every mom and pop leagues suddenly changes their date to the same year. Really lame.

...since the whole A11Fl / Brandi debate / fun petered out. Any updates? Silence. I'm proud to say a blog started by myself and a few others was able to persuade the last few people of note away from her. After that she went on posting for a while, but what's the point when you know the audience isn't real. She still rambles on about sports on twitter. I wonder what happened to the hundreds of millions of dollars he raised. Or the money she frauded away from people via the buyers club and those $300 70 inch smart tv's that didn't exist. I haven't been around in a while. Was completely unaware of the URL change.

It's just a bunch of people seeking attention. Then you almost feel bad for MLFB and USFL. While there's a market for more football out there, regardless of organization, or intention Alternative or Spring football is just damaged goods from the start period. As some of you know I worked on an article for some time that I abandoned. Everybody knows what goes on behind the scenes at this point, and I refuse to be the person who draws these people more of the attention they want.
