naflenterprises.com/The NAFL’s charter franchises will be the Birmingham Freedom, Columbus Flight, Hartford Merchantmen, (Louisville) Kentucky Thoroughbreds, Memphis Kings, (Raleigh-Durham) North Carolina Redwolves, Orlando Sentinels, and (Richmond) Virginia Crusaders. Plan to head westward when they expand. I really like the chances of this league.

(The A11FL signed a team with the Tampa Sports Authority, but later changed the date and seemed not to have the full payment). 2- Will they sign players? We are basically in October and they have no venues ready nor staff. The A11FL gave out the impression that ESPN gave them $$$, but it turned out that the A11FL was buying time. This business now tells us that they have a "network". What does that mean as well? Unless there is a network like Sinclair Broadcasting has with their American Sports Network, having a alledged network in October does not mean anything.

This league has actually gone unnoticed for the previous year. It's been around for a long time just quietly developing. They did have a FB page, but they didn't talk about the future or anything on it. They went for almost six months before they became more active a few weeks ago. So my guess is they have been slowly accumulating investors. They have a good plan. The league was originally a semi-pro league from 1999 to some 3 or 4 years ago. Ever since they've been busy working to get bigger. It's not until someone shines a light on these leagues that we start bashing them. Give them more um... what's the word? Oh . yeah, TIME to do what they've been doing and who knows, maybe we'll end up being genuinely surprised and this'll turn out to be the first successful alternative league in years.

Well, here is the President, interviewed on a "podcast" (I guess). It starts at about the 1 hour 30 minute mark. www.4shared.com/mp3/lKVn_koKce/MCSPORTS_9-26-2014.htmlAll I got from it was that they bought the assets of the AAFL since the guy has something to do with them.

I'm liking how this is being done. Low travel for the teams and information from the league about dates and how things are going.
