The USFL announced their Board of Managers on their website today, theusfl.com. Among them are JEFF DIAMOND, former COO, and Team President of the Tennessee Titans from 1999-2004. Mr. Diamond was named NFL executive of the year in 1999. Also on the board is JAY MOYER, who joined the NFL in 1972. Mr. Moyer was legal counsel to Then NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle, he was also executive VP and league legal counsel for the NFL, at the time the number two position in the league second only to Pete Rozelle. Mr JIM MILLER is also on the board, and has vast NFL experience. He was the NFL's CIO in 1981, as well as on the NFL management council, and the owner's spokesperson during the 1982 strike. In 1986 he was the New Orleans Saints VP of Admin, in 1994 he was their Executive VP until 1996. In 1997 he was the Buffalo Bills VP of Admin., and later moved on to the Chicago Bears, where he was Director of business operations, and negotiated player contracts. I am impressed by this team. Should be put to good use especially when it comes to obtaining a television contract.

The investors in the league are accredited investors. By SEC rules, they cannot divulge who they are. They are also using the 506C rule which allows them a certain amount of non accredited investors, (25 non accredited investors by law I think.)The USFL is doing this right and on the QT as much as possible.
