Well, I'll start this. Who is ready for the new playoff? Also, how many SEC schools will be in it?

I think the new system is still unfair. What about all the sucky teams? I mean with the new system teams are pretty much expected to go completely undefeated if they want a shot at being in the final four. So now when the "lesser" teams lose, what do they have to look forward to? I would have preferred if bowl games were still around for the lesser teams. As far as SEC, I can see only Alabama making it. Mississippi State is my wildcard. Go Ducks.

What most people don't realize is the bowls were not set up to determine a national champion. They were used as a reward for the teams effort during the season. The national champions were only determined by polls.
I think they need to take all the teams and first put them in conferences. No more independent schools. Take the 11 conference champions and 5 at large teams and have a 16 team playoff. There are just too many bowl games now. A 6-6 team should not be "rewarded" with a bowl game.
It would be nice too that all the conferences have championship games. This would be my dream.
