This was a post made by a player on their official facebook page: "I was treated very poorly by mr Hines. Was told directly from him to come to a tryout last weekend, but there never was one.i called the office and was told i would receive a call back but haven't heard from anyone since nor can I get ahold of anyone at the office anymore"
Very interesting.

You're never going to make everybody happy, and you have to wonder why someone expects a tryout now, with the regular season just beginning. Still, it wouldn't be the first complaint against the league.

I think they mentioned early on they had $400k to start. Can't do much with that anyway.

The league is running two more tryouts after the regular season has started, and is changing $200 a tryout. Makes you wonder if they are running short of cash. They certainly don't go out of their way to tell you about the games.

Have to be, why else would you be having tryouts mid season There are easier ways to get additional revenue than charging hopefuls $200/each. They could be running out of bodies and those who did not get placed on a team may have moved on to other things.

I agree, but I bet thats the reason because they need more cash. Each person who trys out will pay for one players game.
