Anybody think the average NFL will actually be into this? I know the die-hards will. But how about the casual fan? I believe that this video of a CFL pre-season game is a reasonable projection of what audiences will look like for the FXFL. Similar to what some of the UFL's lesser franchises had. cfl.ca/article/redblacks-debut-but-riders-prevail-at-mosaic By the way, check out the 4:15 minute mark. Heckuva play buy the 3rd string QB. Could be a potential prospect in one of these leagues.

The NCAA ( and TBH, this country's university system altogether) is not operating on a sustainable model. Sooner or later, the NFL will have to be responsible for grooming amateur talent. But I think it'll be the better part of a decade before whatever system they set up will pay for itself, ala MiLB.

If the NFL came out with a minor league in cities that dont have nfl team, then yes I think people would buy into it.
