Who WOULDN'T take that gig? Eight week gig? Sure. Eight weeks for undisclosed pay. Isn't Woods also angling for players to stay with "host families" like it is a Summer College Baseball League (think Cape Cod League). And we have yet to see the Omaha World-Herald run a story on buying season tickets, or any tickets for that matter.

Oh, if they're going to do host families, this is independent baseball, crash-on-a-guy's-couch level of sports.
45/55 they never play this fall.

Found the tweet: Also, the week in which Tommy Harris was named as operator for the Austin franchise, the FXFL filed a Form D with the Securities and Exchange Commission. www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1614088/000161408814000001/xslFormDX01/primary_doc.xmlI see a major problem. The filing indicates that they were looking to raise $5MM, but only filed to state that they received only $2.5MM. Woods told the Sports Business Journal in May that he had already secured $10MM. m.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Daily/Issues/2014/05/15/Leagues-and-Governing-Bodies/FXFL.aspx

What's the worst that could happen if you lied to the SEC?
